This autobiographical mystery, directed Off-Broadway by Larry Moss, was hailed by The New York Times and The London Times and as "the best family confessional play they've seen."
Since written into an original screenplay, the movie version is currently in the financing stage of development.
Developed and directed by Michael Raynor and hailed in Edinburgh as "South Park meets Of Mice And Men", Butch Hammett's one man show, Southern Discomfort, achieved "critic's choice" awards in Prague, Dublin, and Edinburgh and was invited into the prestigious Comedy Central Stage in Hollywood. Plans are in the works for Southern Discomfort to do a "Southern BBQ Tour" of universities south of the Mason Dixon line.
The film version, written by Michael Raynor and Butch Hammett is being shopped now and will be made into a feature film in the near future.
